We're about healthy leaders, healthy churches, and Gospel growth in small towns.

Pillars of Health

Gospel-Centrality

Being Gospel-centered is more than just being evangelistic or presenting the Gospel in our preaching and teaching. It's anchoring our lives, finding our identity in, and being okay with whatever because of what God done for us, is doing for us, and will do for us in Christ Jesus.

Whole Life Flourishing

God rested, yet many of us never stop working or thinking about work, whether it's shooting texts or answering calls and emails. Jesus wept, yet we seldom allow ourselves to feel emotion or know what to do with it. The command to love God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength reveals that we are not one-dimensional and to truly flourish, to be fully human, we need to address all those areas as well.

Brotherhood

Most small town pastors know about distance or isolation because of their geography, but all too often that distance and isolation carries over into ministry relationships as well. We need others who can empathize with our experiences and who bear the same burden of pastoral ministry to encourage us, challenge us, and spur us on; real friends who we can be real with.

Leading in Community

Jesus bore the sins of his people on the cross, but no pastor is expected to bear the responsibility and anxiety of caring for Christ's bride alone. Not all churches will have a plurality of "elders" or even multiple staff members with the title "pastor," but every healthy church should have a framework for sharing the duties and weight of ministry among multiple competent, character-qualified, Holy Spirit-empowerd believers.

Longevity

Growth occurs over time. Relationships develop and deepen over time. Very little that's of real significance and sustainable happens quickly. For pastors and their churches to be healthy, staying put, loving people, and being faithful for a long-time is of great importance.
